Customization

What is Customization?

Customization is the process of adapting a mobile application to the specific needs, branding, and functionality of a business. In an app builder, customization can include changing colors, fonts, images, icons, navigation, content, screens, and available features. It allows businesses to start with ready-made components or an app template while creating an application that reflects their own brand and requirements.

Why it matters

Customization helps businesses create a mobile app that does not look or function like a generic template. Companies can maintain their visual identity, choose the features relevant to their customers, organize content appropriately, and adapt the application to specific business processes. In no-code app development, customization provides flexibility without requiring every element of the app to be programmed from scratch.

Example

A restaurant starts with a ready-made app template and customizes it with its logo, brand colors, menu, images, contact information, booking functionality, and promotions. The underlying template speeds up app creation, while customization makes the finished mobile application match the restaurant’s brand and business needs.
